Dr. Wayne Dyess has been living in a home with roof problems and a growing mold problem thanks to Hurricanes Rita and Ike.  Despite attempts, he has been unable to procure funds to handle the necessary repairs to his home.  So, we would like to pool our resources to help raise the funds to complete the repairs.

Matt Brackin agreed to donate his AND his company’s time to complete the roof project.  He also agreed to furnish some of the supplies which he already had on hand.  (This cut down the cost of funds needed considerably!)

The original cost for the remaining roofing supplies was $2,550.91. As of our most recent update, the remaining amount is $ 95.91 !

Please note that PayPal will automatically deduct a 1%-3% transaction fee for payments, so your submission to HomeWorks will be minus that portion.  Michelle White will be handling the PayPal account, and receives no profit from this project.   The account is registered under wudwynd@yahoo.com.  Your credit card number and expiration date is NOT divulged to Michelle.

You may also mail or deliver check donations to Noelle Maldonado via the contact info on the right.  Checks should be payable to “HomeWorks”, with “Dyess” in the memo line. 

If, at anytime, you would like to see a more detailed run-down of funds received and expenses covered, please let us know and we will provide an update!

Once the project is complete, any remaining funds will be placed on a Wal-Mart gift card for the Dyess family to use and/or used by HomeWorks to complete any additional related repair tasks or further offset their roof costs at the Dyess home.
